Let's face it, not many people are privileged enough to be in Jazz Band. Those of us who are know how truly lucky we are. We get to enjoy the real, fun Mr. Myers, not the jerk that he has to pretend to be for Marching Band. Let's all be thankful that we're in Jazz Band, and also have pity on everyone else, who aren't so lucky.
Everyone, PLEASE practice. We're never gonna be any good if you don't. Whether we ever get First Circle back is of lesser importance. We all need to be good enough to play real music, real jazz. So practice! Learn to improvise! None of you are too good to practice, so hurry up and get over yourself and practice.
(For those of you asking, "Did Jacob just call Mr. Myers a jerk?", let me tell you, no, I didn't. I specifically said he isn't, that he only pretends to be, and I only said this after Mr. Myers called himself a jerk at band camp. So get off me; I'd never insult Mr. Myers.)
